Rectangular magnet wire
Rectangular magnet wire means square and flat copper and aluminum magnet wire. Custom- produced by LP Industry in sizes thickness (a): 0.8mm ~8.0mm, width (b): 2.0 ~ 25mm. 0.64mm2 to 625 mm2 cross-sectional area.
Biulding: single / double / heavy coated; Grade 1 or grade 2; type 0 or type1
Application: power transformer, rewinding motors, electric welding machine, oil type transformers, dry type transfromers, generators, etc.
Temperature index: 150°C, 180°C, 200°C, 240°C.

Rectangular magnet wire, or enamelled rectangular winding wire when used in coil making, creates a denser winding that dissipates heat better than a round wire coil. Less ‘air’ between layers allows for more power at higher operating temperatures. AIW/EIW Class H grade rectangular magnet winding wire is a high-heat-resistant, highly reliable rectangular enamel wire. It has a high space factor, contributing to higher motor efficiency, and is also used in high-voltage driving motors for xEVs. It is made of rectangular copper with an enameled layer. Additionally, LP Industry is currently developing the enamel layer to provide a film width of approximately 25 mm for dry-type transformers and vehicles.
